The firm concentrates its activities in three
principal areas of the law. these are :
The firm handles a wide range of matters
beneath the Commercial Law umbrella including Buidling
& Construction Law and Private Client Services. The
partners believe that the firm should concentrate on the
areas of law for which the firm is well known,
respected, experienced and expert. For this reason, for
example, the firm does not handle Family Law. The firm
does what it does best. In connection with Commercial
Law, the client of Wainwright Ryan Eid can expect expert
and cost efficient advice and assistance in the
following areas:
- Property Law - Commercial and residential
property transactions of every description including
purchase, sale, mortgage, leasing, together with all
aspects of property development, "off the plan"
transactions, front end documentation, advice
throughout and dispute resolution.
- Business Law - Including acquisition and
sale of businesses, assignment of lease, preparation
and negotiation of appropriate contracts and
administration through to successful completion.
- Advice and assistance in relation to
selecting and creating appropriate business vehicles
and structures so as to take maximum advantage of
relevant tax law, capital gains legislation, GST etc.
whilst retaining protection for the individual client
against legal liability.
- Insurance Law as it relates to business and
commercial transactions.
- Commercial Litigation and Arbitration at
all levels utilising wherever possible alternative

resolution of disputes.
- Licensing Law, in particular as it relates
to the sale and acquisition of licensed groceries,
restaurants, hotels and other licensed premises.
- Commercial Agreements of every description
drafted so as to secure to the clients of the firm the
best of the alternatives available in relation to the
issues presented.
- All aspects of franchising,
acting for either franchisor or franchisee.
